This is another easy cake that doesnt require a mixer. You can frost it in the pan with chocolate frosting, if you like.
1 ¼ cups flour
¾ cups sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
½ cup Crisco
1 cup mashed bananas (2 medium bananas)
2 eggs, well beaten
oven 350 9 square pan
In a large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. With a pastry blender, cut in the Crisco. Stir in the mashed bananas. Stir in the beaten eggs. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 square pan. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool in pan.
